Kara graduated from Scott County High School in 2009, then continued her education at Eastern Kentucky University, where she graduated in 2013 with a Middle School Education degree- concentration English/LA and Social Studies. She has two children, Holden and Emma Barron, who are the light of Kara’s life. She serves as an assimilation coach for Harmony’s Celebrate Recovery, middle school student leader, facilities manager for PCA, RIP connect team leader and sound booth volunteer. She absolutely adores her family at Harmony and loves serving on the leadership team. Fun fact about Kara after she graduated from Eastern Kentucky University, she wrote a young adolescent science fiction novel based on a dream.
