Connect Group Babysitter

Description

We are seeking a joyful, dependable leader to serve our kids during Sunday and/or Wednesday evening connect groups. This role involves engaging Pre-K or elementary kids in fun, age-appropriate activities while helping them feel loved and included. The ideal candidate loves Jesus, enjoys working with children, and brings energy, creativity, and a warm smile to every gathering.

Responsibilities

Engage Pre-K or elementary children in age-appropriate group activities and play
Create a welcoming, safe, and fun environment where kids feel valued
Lead and supervise children during scheduled connect group times (Sunday/Wednesday evenings)
Assist with simple activities, games, and transitions as needed
Set up rooms before activities and help clean up afterward
Model Christ-like love, patience, and joy in all interactions
Ensure the safety and well-being of children under your care

Qualifications

Preferred:

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to serve in ministry
Previous experience working with children (babysitting, teaching, camp, ministry, etc.)
Ability to engage children with energy, creativity, and patience
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dependability and punctuality in fulfilling scheduled commitments
Willingness to follow church policies and safety procedures
Ability to set up and clean up rooms with attention to detail

Willingness to obtain or possess current CPR/First Aid training.
